At Everton Heath, we value input from our pupils. Year 6 pupils act as ambassadors for the school and have worked on developing the school expectations and values. They are now relaunching our school council, taking the lead to organise the younger pupils to work on a number of projects, make decisions about how and which charities we will raise money for, identify development needs within the school and how the children can support these.
Each year group is represented by one council member, who is selected by the class every term. The Year 6 ambassadors take on different roles across the three terms: acting as chair and secretary of the school council and also representing their year group. This is facilitated by Mrs May, who works closely with the ambassadors and school council to help them make an impact both in our school and in the wider community.
