Ofsted rate us 'Good'

We have now received the official report from Ofsted following their visit in March and we are pleased to share it with you.

Ofsted rated Everton Heath as 'Good' in all areas and have confirmed what we already know - Everton Heath's pupils are 'safe in the school's nurturing environment' and live out the school's motto of 'learn, grow, thrive' from the day they join.
They agreed that the school's leaders have a strong vision for Everton Heath, evident in our recently overhauled the curriculum. Although Ofsted noted that it has yet to be fully embedded to address historical gaps in pupils' learning, they praised the new curriculum as 'broad, balanced and ambitious', particulatly noting the whole-school priority on reading and the way that pupils with SEND are supported.
Ofsted also noted that pupils understand the high expectations that adults have of them and try to meet these. They behave well, have very positive attitudes to learning and are well prepared for life in modern Britain. Staff are proud to work at the school, Ofsted report, and valued the network and professional training opportunities through Everton Heath's membership of both the West Village Partnership and the wider Cam Academy Trust.
