Uniform

We take great pride in the appearance of the children in our school and we encourage them to wear school uniform.

We believe that a good, positive attitude to appearance promotes similar attitudes to other aspects of school life and promotes a real pride in our school.

However we also recognise that purchasing school uniform can be expensive so we have worked hard both to minimise the number of badged items and to source these at the best possible price.

The school uniform comprises:

• A dark navy school sweatshirt or cardigan (badged or unbadged)

• White polo shirts (badged or unbadged)  Years R-4

• White shirts Years 5-6 (unbadged, optional)

• Grey skirts, shorts or trousers (unbadged)

• Ties for Years 5 -6 (optional)

• Years 5-6 can also purchase badged school blazers from the Brigade website (optional)

• Sensible black shoes.

• During the summer months the girls may also wear a summer dress with blue checks.

• School Fleece and/or reversible showerproof jacket (badged, optional)  

• Boots (Reception only)

• We also recommend all children have a school bookbag

PE Kit

All children require:

• a white T-shirt (badged or unbadged).

• navy shorts

• plimsolls or trainers with spare socks

• A drawstring or sports bag to keep them in. Badged PE bags are available from the Brigade website.

• Navy sweatshirt or fleece

• Navy jogging or tracksuit bottoms

• An EHPS tracksuit is also available to purchase from the Brigade website

It is essential that children have a change of footwear and socks for PE lessons in case they end up wet and/or muddy.

When we swim in the Summer months we ask that children with shoulder length or longer hair wear a swimming hat.

Uniform Suppliers

Everton Heath uses Brigade to supply all our badged items. These can be ordered online at www.brigade.uk.com  They also supply bookbags and PE bags as well as a number of unbadged items, which are, of course, available from other outlets.

We offer the chance to try on badged items before purchasing. Please ask at the school office if you would like to take up this opportunity as we hold sweatshirts, cardigans and polo shirts in a range of sizes.

Please be aware that delivery during the summer months is likely to be longer than at other times in the year.

Important information

• All clothes, shoes and other possessions should be clearly marked with your child’s name.
• Jewellery can be dangerous and children with pierced ears should only wear small plain studs to school. These cannot be worn during PE lessons and must be removed.
• Hair should be worn in a sensible and neat style. Long hair should be fastened back into a plait or pony tail and must be tied up for PE.
